Prioritizing Accessibility with Thoughtful Design

The LiveIntent website previously used large blocks of color and white text across its pages, which negatively impacted accessibility scores, particularly in the hero sections. To address this, I worked closely with our UX designer to implement lighter backgrounds, utilizing white and subtle colors.

This strategic change not only significantly improved accessibility scores but also transformed the visual experience, giving the site a clean, modern, and more inviting feel. The result was a website that is both more user-friendly and visually appealing to a wider audience.

Boosting Engagement with Interactive Components

To enhance user engagement and streamline the browsing experience, I strategically implemented interactive components such as case study carousels and accordion-style descriptions throughout the site. This approach not only encouraged more interaction with the content but also allowed us to optimize page layout. By compacting content into these interactive elements, we reduced page length while still delivering valuable information. The result was a faster, more intuitive browsing experience that kept users engaged and made it easier for them to quickly reach our lead generation forms.

Backend Optimizations

With the goals of improving page load times, raising SEO rankings, and making the site more easily editable, we made several optimizations to the site.

Rebuilding the site using Wordpress

Merging our blog and site to the same domain

Redesigning our navigation to include more pages

Adding “breadcrumbs” to pages

Implementing loading animations to our forms
